Here is a few things that you MUST read to enter this competition.
Your cut of the profit (If you are in the top 60%) will be slightly reduced because paypal will take some of the money sent. So, If the book makes 10 dollars, and there are 10 stories in it, of which you had one story, you would make 1 dollar. Now, paypal extracts a percentage of it, so when I send it to you, you will only receive, 70 cents or so. Because of this, I will send the money every three or four months, so you loose less of the profit. Of course, if we make 100 sales in the first month, I will send it then.
If you are a minor, pay careful attention to this. If you decide to join the contest, make sure to ask your parents to approve, as of the fact that minors CANNOT sign a contract over the internet, or anywhere legally. So from what I know, you have several options. A. you can ask your parents to "Sign the contract for you" By sending me an email saying your parents approve of this transaction. There will be an actual email with the contracts exact contents sent out sometime in October, when we have most to all of our contestants. You could also choose to ignore the contract, and just trust me, (This option is directed at kids entering from my school) because you see me at school everyday, and know who I am. I do not reccomend this to anybody I have invited online, because you not truly know if I am trustworthy.
When you submit a piece to me for the contest, you keep all rights for it. Note that by entering, you give me permission to publish your piece under your name, with all credits given. I do not hold any claim over the piece, and you have rights to void the agreement if I attempt to claim that your work is mine.
Note that by entering this competition, you agree to all the above rules. You have right to withdraw any time. Good luck to all!

Welcome Writers and Poets!
Welcome to the SSP competition! If you are looking for something to take up a little bit of your time, or feel like getting your work out there, this is your chance! We will be taking the top 60% of all our submitted poems and stories, and turning them into two books! If you are in the top percent, your work will be credited to you, along with the amount of work you did. For example, if 20 people enter the contest, and you put in two short stories which both make it to the top 60%, and there are a total of 10 short stories, including yours, you will recieve 20% of the profit made. If you input one winning story, you would recive 10%. The price of the book will be determined by the top 60%.
